What’s the difference between PH 500, 1000, and 1500?
They vary in sodium concentration:
- PH 500: light workouts
- PH 1000: moderate to high sweat loss
- PH 1500: heavy sweating, heat, or preloading
When should I take electrolytes?
Use PH 1000 or PH 1500 before intense training or racing in hot conditions to pre-load effectively. During longer efforts, rehydrate every 60–90 minutes with PH 500–1500, depending on sweat rate and climate.
Can I mix hydration products with fuel?
Yes. Combine PH electrolytes with Precision Fuel drinks, gels, or chews to cover both sodium and carbohydrate needs. Monitor gut comfort and adjust if needed.
How much fuel do I need per hour?
- Low intensity: 30g carbs/hour
- Moderate intensity: 60g carbs/hour
- High intensity/races: up to 90g carbs/hour
Use a mix of gels, chews, and drink mixes to hit your targets.
Can I combine different Fuel products?
Absolutely. Mix gels, chews, and drinks based on your preference and tolerance. All formulas are built around the same carb blend for easy stacking.
How early should I start fueling during a session?
Start within the first 30–45 minutes of activity, especially for sessions >90 minutes.
Are these products vegan and gluten-free?
Yes. All Fuel and Hydration products are vegan-friendly and gluten-free.
Are your products certified?
Yes. All products are tested under the Informed Sport program, ensuring they’re free of banned substances and safe for competition.
Do these upset the stomach?
They’re formulated to be gentle on the gut, with no unnecessary ingredients. However, we always recommend testing them in training before race day.
